Goldmann Sachs pays $16.7bn in bonuses.

Recession is lots of people losing money and jobs. Recession is also opportunity. Businesses go bust, clients who were taken a day ago are now free for grabs and those who are still with someone else suddenly on the move for better deals. Goldmann Sachs is a company which is a prime example of a business doing well in recession. While Citigroup are struggling to stay afloat, GS break records and pay out $16,700,000,000 in bonuses to employees. That's about $430,000 per employee, ladies and gentlemen.
